  1. How does one buy this? I don't have to download FoxTab PDF Creator to purchase the manual do I?

  2. I am looking for information on how to sew on a Viking 6010 using the cams and how to unstick the reverse button so I can sew forward again. The machine was just serviced and oiled. I don't know how to take the back off myself to get a blow dryer in there to heat it up.

  3. You just need Adobe acrobat to read the PDF. Most computers have it installed.

If you look at the top left of this blog you will find YouTube videos that explains how to repair and clean those sticky parts. Some of the videos will cover removing covers. I'm not use about your model: You normally have two screws from the bottom and one from though the side cover. One from the head side.(you must first remove the the cover to get to the screw) There are on or two holding the back cover.

    1. Thanks! I have the manual now :)

The video you made of unsticking the reverse button was a demo on the 6470 (I think) and my machine is much older- 6010. It isn't the same assembly on the front. I took off the plastic cover that fits over the reverse button. The metal reverse button part (in the middle of the dial-I don't have the dial taken off) moves loosely in and out like it's not attached to anything in the back. I don't think I need to oil anything since I just paid $60 to have the machine "tuned up"! I have the back cover off and have heated up the parts with my hair dyer but I don't see what to push on with my screwdriver to get the reverse button to engage again and pop out. I was looking at lots of videos last night and I saw one that showed where to insert the screwdriver and what to push on, but it was not in focus and now I can't find that same video to watch it again. Can you help me? Thanks. I wish I lived in NZ.

  4. I saw the video to replace the cracked cam and the instructions seems straight forward. However, when I lifted the connecting arm off to get to the pin, the entire piece cam off and I am not sure how to replace this piece and attach the spring. Any suggests or details of how this piece fits would be appreciated. The YouTube instructions were very good except for this part.
